What a busy week its been for Serenity Mobile Massage.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

We are now part of the Harmony Therapy Trust. The Harmony Therapy Trust is NHS supported but not funded. This trust provides free supportive therapies of all sorts to patients in Kent living with cancer, chronic, serious or life-altering illnesses.

The next fundraising event will be held at Westenhanger Castle on the 29th April 2018 with proceeds going towards the Trust. The theme is a Mad Hatter's Tea Party and will include different activities for kids and adults alike as well as an amazing Afternoon Tea. Just some of the activities on the day: Just Dandy Carriage & Horse Rides, Dave's Portrait Machine, 2 of Harps Playing & Singing, Debs Sweet Delights Cart, A Tour of The Castle, Stuart Weller Magician and Face painting.

The Bar will be open all afternoon where you can purchase any alcohol or soft drinks.

If you would like to know more about the Harmony Therapy Trust or know someone who can benefit from the Trust, please visit the website: http://theharmonytherapytrust.org.uk. Tickets for this event is available from Gillian Pollard.

I met Gillian at the local Dover Ladies Who Latte Networking event. Gillian is not only a Trustee for The Harmony Trust but also a local businesswoman as Dover’s very own Hair and Makeup Stylist, having witnessed some of her hair-ups, I can truly say she is amazing at what she does and the looks she achieves.

Bra Bank

This group has been invaluable for meeting other local women in business and networking as well as forming bonds of friendships and professional collaborations. We can all learn from one another and help and support each other with different skills and life experiences. We also try and support charitable initiatives in the Dover area as this is where we all live and work. Recently, Paula, our group hostess introduced a new initiative ‘ The Bra Bank’. This is recycling scheme for all your old, manky, poke, holey bras or just bras you no longer wear, the collection is used to fund pioneering breast cancer research and supports small businesses in Africa.

The Bra bank will be moving around different businesses in Dover. It will be in Nifties until just before Easter.

Every month we also have a special speaker and this month it was the lovely Dr Ronja Veith showing us all how to breathe properly. This is a lot harder than you think but so helpful in relieving anxiety and helping you to focus mentally. This will definitely come in handy with all the events we are planning to attend as well as be a part of, for example on Saturday 24th March we will be at Dover's first Lifestyle Market at the Western Docks. Serenity Mobile Massage will be offering Indian Head Massage and Chair Massage sessions, why not pop along to see us?
